This is an overview of the terms and conditions of our store. By making a purchase of one of our products or services, you are agreeing to the following. 

 

Payment for Online Orders

All online sales must be made by credit card, pay-pal or one of our other available processors.. Hope Flower Farm accepts payment from the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover as well as payment processors Paypal, Elo and JCB. Acceptance of orders is subject to credit card verification procedures. We reserve the right to cancel an order if it does not meet our credit card verification standards.

Once an order has been submitted, Hope Flower Farm is not able to make changes, modify or combine an order or change a method of payment. If you have forgotten something in your cart you must place an additional order.

 

International Orders

At this time Hope Flower Farm is not able to process and ship orders internationally. 

 

Returns and Exchange Policy

Returns and exchanges are based on your purchase method. See below for specific guidelines for Shipping, Fresh Flowers, Workshop / Tours and Carriage House gift shop purchases. Most items are only available for return or exchange if you’ve received the wrong order, or the order arrives damaged in transit. Refunds may not include any shipping or handling charges associated with the purchase.Your refund will be credited to the original form of payment used for the original transaction. Please note that credit card refunds may take up to 15 business days for your bank to complete, depending on their processing times. 

 

 

 

Fresh Flowers

If your flowers arrive damaged, you must provide photos of the flowers, within 24 hours of receiving your order, so we can properly assess their condition.

Please provide a photo, your order number and a description of the discrepancy to our customer support.


Fresh flower orders canceled within 48 hours may be eligible for partial refund if they have not already been designed. All orders that have been designed and assembled are non refundable, as the blooms can no longer be re- purposed. To cancel your order please contact customer support.


Delivery

 

We deliver within 60 miles of our farm located in Waterford, VA. Our deliveries are made by a third-party delivery service, by the end of day on the delivery date selected at checkout. The order will be delivered as designated by you. Please note Hope Flower Farm nor our third-party delivery is responsible for missing or damaged items once the delivery is completed. If by any chance your item(s) do go missing, be sure to check with your neighbors and see if they grabbed it for you.

 

Shipping Orders

Once an order has been placed, we cannot add or subtract items. If you want any additional items not included in your original order, please place a new order. We are unable to combine separately placed orders.


All orders are shipped via our preferred carrier UPS


Please note that we make every effort to ship orders as they are received, however during peak season ( April - October ) we will only ship on Wednesdays. If your item is time sensitive please contact our customer support and we will make every effort to accommodate your request.


Should an item arrive damaged or incorrect, refunds or exchanges may be available. Please contact our customer support within five business days of delivery to begin the evaluation process.


Orders can be canceled up to 24 hours from when the order is placed, unless the order has already been shipped. We will be able to void this transaction with the payment method used, minus a 3% processing fee. If the order has shipped it is no longer eligible for cancellation, but may be returned for a full or partial refund of the item's cost.


If you’ve realized you have ordered the wrong product and would like to start a return, please email our customer support. Refunds on returned items are issued only after the items have been received by our team. Items that are returned damaged may not be eligible for a refund. All fees incurred with shipping for returns are the responsibility of the customer.


Packages returned to Hope Flower Farm due to incorrect shipping address or package refusal are ineligible for a shipping refund. 


Shipped Garden Roses

If your flowers arrive damaged, you must provide photos of the flowers, within 24 hours of receipt, so we can properly assess their condition.


Please provide a photo, your order number and a description of the discrepancy to our customer support.

 

Workshops,Tours, and Events 

We ask that before you sign up for a class or tour with us that you please check your schedule and make sure you are able to make the class you sign up for. All workshops and tours and non-refundable.

Refunds are permitted within 24 hours of purchase, minus a 3% processing fee.

After 24 hours if you are unable to make your class or tour we ask that you reach out to our customer support to find a time to reschedule or cancel your time slot

 

Any event orders with perishable  items are not eligible for refund 48 hours before the date of the event.

 

Community Support Agriculture

PAYMENT

I understand that once I sign up and pay for my CSA membership in full, I have secured my place in the CSA for the season. There are no refunds, either full or partial, for cancellation of my CSA once purchased. Members may transfer their membership to an alternate person. The share ownership will be transferred to the alternate person. The alternate person will pay the original shareholder directly. The original shareholder is responsible for notifying Hope Flower Farm of the change. The alternate shareholder is responsible for sharing their contact information with the farm, so the newsletter can be received.


START DATE

I understand that my share will be available weekly at Hope Flower Farm. If I am out of town or unable to pick up my CSA for any reason, I understand that it is my responsibility to find a substitute to take my share. If I am unable to pick up my share or find a substitute to pick up my share, I will not receive credit or a refund for any shares that I do not pick up.


PICKING UP YOUR BOUQUET:

Pickup time parameters are specific to Hope Flower Farm or Green Tree Tavern. It is my responsibility to pick up my share during the designated time period on the designated day. If I am unable to pick it up I will entitle a friend to do so. I understand that if my share is not picked up on the designated day, within the designated time, I forfeit that share and it will be donated at the discretion of the host pickup location.

 

 Carriage House Gift Shop 

Exchanges and returns are allowed within 5 business days of purchase at the Carriage House gift shop. Items must be brought back to Hope Flower Farm to be processed. Items may not be refunded or exchanged if they are returned, used or broken.

Winery:

Outside Food

Feel free to bring a picnic and enjoy your time on our property! We ask only that trash makes its way to the designated trash area.

 

Pets

We welcome all of your four legged friends! We simply ask that they are friendly with new people and places, remain on a leash, and you clean up after them.


Uber/ Lyft

Please plan ahead for transportation. Our beautiful location is not necessarily Uber/ Lyft friendly. 

 

Alcohol

Hope Flower Farm & Winery abides by all Virginia ABC and Federal alcohol laws. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • We will not serve intoxicated individuals


  • Only Hope Flower Farm & Winery provided wine may be consumed on the property. We reserve the right to confiscate outside alcohol and ask the violator to leave the property.


  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

 

Coolers

We reserve the right to inspect any coolers brought on property to ensure we are in compliance with the ABC Regulations.

 

Groups

Please contact us if you wish to reserve space for your group or large party.


Safety

Hope Flower Farm & Winery is a working farm. Please be advised that you navigate the property at your own risk and accept personal responsibility. Please watch your step and enjoy.

Where can I find my order number?

 

After you complete your purchase, we will send you an email receipt. At the top of your receipt under the Hope logo you will see your 4 digit order number. If you have any questions, please have this number ready as it will allow us to help you quicker.

What is the class refund policy?

Refunds are allowed within 24 hours of purchase minus a 3% processing fee. After 24 hours if you are unable to make your class or tour we ask that you reach out to our customer support ( link to info@hollychappleflowers.com) to find a time to reschedule or cancel your time slot with no refund. 

 

 

 

Can I rent the farm for any event?

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, we do require a deposit and signed contract to secure your date.

 

How many people can my event have at the farm?

For private events our capacity is 100 guests.

 

 

Does the rental come with any equipment or furnishings?

 

Your rental includes some furnishings, however those with larger guest counts typically provide their own rentals. We can share a guide of what is available when you submit your contact form.  ( Insert Contact Form Link)

Can I pack a picnic? Absolutely! 

 

Can I bring my own alcohol? I am afraid not, we are only permitted to allow the wine and cider provided by the farm.

 

Can I bring my pet? Absolutely! We just ask that they remain on a leash while on the property and are cleaned up after.

 

Can I Uber/Lyft there? Technically yes you can, however getting picked up may be a bit more difficult. We suggest you rely on a different form of transportation or designated driver.
